F-Gas
From 4 July 2009 it became a legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning and/or heat pump equipment containing or designed to contain F-Gas refrigerants to obtain an F-Gas Company Certificate. The Environment Agency have now taken control of F Gas Regulation enforcement, they are pro-actively checking business compliance. Refcom works closely with the EA to ensure better compliance and more effective enforcement.

Safecontractor acts as an umbrella organisation to facilitate mutual recognition between health and safety assessment schemes wherever it is practicable to do so.
